Davies & Baird is a specialist supplier of Rail Bound Manganese castings.
The business commenced in 1883 in the inner Melbourne suburb of Brunswick and moved to Coburg in 1968.
In 2015 it became a division of Castcorp Pty Ltd and was relocated to Revesby NSW.
Apart from supplying local and interstate customers within Australia, Davies & Baird, export to markets including North America and East Asia.
For more than 130 years we have been supplying manganese steel castings for rail trackwork, with extensive machining and assembly facilities for these products.
Our customers include end-user operators Light Rail Systems, and Original Equipment Manufacturers of turnouts, switches and crossings.
